Bowie Woman Indicted on Child Endangerment Charges

A Bowie woman has been indicted by a Montague County Grand Jury, for several charges stemming from a gruesome find by authorities back in September.

Jessica Petroni has been indicted for: injury to a child; serious bodily injury to a child; intent bodily injury, and three counts of abandoning or endangering a child.

Bowie Police said back on September 30th, Petroni left her children, ages eight years to three months old, all alone in a filthy home with no food.

One officer said, there was garbage and human waste all over the house, and that he could literally smell the home from the street.

He also says, he had been in dope houses that were cleaner.

She is still behind bars in the Montague County Jail.
