Former Texoma High School Athletic Director Dies After Crash

The body of Matthew Robinson was found on FM 1954 late Thursday. 
Texas DPS Trooper, Dan Buesing, said troopers responded to a call of an accident on FM 1954.

On arriving at the scene, officials found the body of Matthew Robinson in a vehicle which had caught fire.
The vehicle was a late model Chevy Pickup Truck.

Trooper Buesing said Robinson was traveling south on FM 1954 when he hit a concrete culvert, then entered a ditch and eventually hit a fence on the side of the road before his vehicle caught fire.

Robinson was pronounced dead at 1:59 a.m. Friday. 
The cause of the accident is still under investigation. 
Robinson was a former head football coach at both Electra and Holliday ISD, he also served at athletic director in Holliday.
