A vehicle was broken into and two rifles and two checkbooks were stolen, as well as a wallet, on Wednesday in Archer City.
Police Chief, Justin Perron, received information that a check was passed at a local WalMart Friday.
Video surveillance from WalMart showed two male suspects. One of whom passed the stolen checks. Surveillance also showed the two arrive and left the store in a red Chevy truck.
The vehicle was located.
Both Archer City Police Officers, as well as the Archer County Sheriff's Office, and other law enforcement agencies arrived on the scene, and took two males into custody.
The two stolen rifles were recovered and identified by the victim.
One suspect was wanted in Gray County, Texas and faces an additional charge after failing to correctly identify himself. More charges are pending on this suspect.
