ATVs Recovered by Sheriff's Office

The Wichita County Sheriff's Office has recovered a number of ATVs that were reported stolen from a deer camp Sunday. 

According to Officials, Christine Zitsch was seen operating a red Kawasaki Brute 300 All-Terrain Vehicle traveling east on Hampton Road. Sheriff Deputies noticed the vehicle turned into a private driveway in the 1300 block of Highway 79 north. Checks revealed  that the vehicle was reported stolen during a burglary of a habitation that occurred on, November 22, on Andy Kenyon Road.  

According to Officials this lead to the recovery of three other stolen all-terrain vehicles and a single axle flatbed trailer that was also stolen during the burglary.

Sheriff David Duke said one of the ATVs was found on Highway 79 this morning, another ATV was found on Windthorst road, and another on Peach street. 

The 32-year-old female was arrested and charges with Theft over $2,500 under $29,999.

According to the Officials, $10,500.00 in stolen property has been recovered, and multiple suspects are in custody in relation to these crimes.
