Abduction in Wichita Falls

Just before 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the Wichita Falls Police Department responded to a call about a possible abduction in progress, near Avenue K.

Police said a witness was able to give a description of the suspects and their vehicle.

Officers found the first victim at the 7-Eleven on Ave K and Grant.

The victim told police that three suspects grabbed him at gunpoint at the Brigadoon Apartments and threw him into their vehicle, where they threatened him with a gun.

Officers said he told the trio the information they were seeking and he was dropped off along Avenue K.

Then police said the suspects drove to a residence in the 2300 block of Buchanan where they pulled a second victim from a vehicle and assaulted him before fleeing the scene.

After further investigation officers with the Gang Task Force were able to find the suspect vehicle on Broad Street.

The three suspects were found in the vehicle and have been identified.

Romeo Paz, 22, Jorge Rodriguez, 23,  and Ishmael Gamora, 19, were placed under arrest and are expected to be charged with: Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity - Aggravated Kidnapping, Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity - Aggravated Assault, Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity - Assault.
