New Information Released on Texas Armory Robbery

New information about the robbery at the Texoma Armory last month has been released by police. 

The second suspect in that shooting is now out of the hospital. Wichita Falls Police said Charles Johnson was released from the hospital on Monday night at 7:30 p.m. Johnson was then taken to the Wichita County Jail and charged with aggravated robbery. Police said Johnson, and Rodney Robinson, attempted to rob Texoma Armory together.

According to arrest affidavits, Robinson told police he and Johnson planned to rob the store by, distracting the owner, and then taking off with some guns. Instead, the owner of the store, shot Johnson wounding him. Robinson said he then shot at the owner, grabbed a rifle that was on display, and ran out the door.The owner survived the altercation.

Robinson and Johnson have both been charged with aggravated robbery.
