Man Charged with Aggravated Assault After Fresh Bullet Holes Found in Home

The Wichita Falls Police officers responded to a call in the 4500 block of University Avenue on Monday just after 8:30 p.m.

The call turned into a mental commitment. A short time later, Robert Parker was released and returned home. Officers said they were called back to the home that night because Parker began breaking items, and threw an object that his mother in the face. Police said during a pat down the 27-year-old, they discovered a loaded semi automatic in his pants pocket. Investigators said Parker fired two shots at his mother earlier in the day, and they found two fresh bullet holes.

Parker has been charged with aggravated assault.
