At least 100 shooters are expected to yell 'Pull' on Saturday in an effort to help local boy scouts.
The Northwest Texas Boy Scouts Of America Council is hosting its 3rd Annual Sporting Clay Classic Shoot at Camp Perkins in Wichita Falls. It is estimated that as many as 100 shooters will be showing up at this year's event.
Registration and a complimentary breakfast begin at 8:00 Saturday morning and the actual shoot will begin at 9:00. Teams of five pay $100 per shooter or $500 total per team. Registration and space is only guaranteed to the first 100 shooters that show.
Both Camp Perkins and the Boy Scout Council will benefit from the event by using the money raised to build a premier shooting sports program for youth serviced by the camp.
The Boy Scouts Northwest Texas Council serves 1,200 youth in 12 North Texas counties.
