Iowa Park City Officials Reject Bid For Animal Reclaim Center

Residents in Iowa Park thought the city was one step closer to opening an Animal Reclaim Center.
That all changed following a city council meeting Monday night.
City officials received one bid, reviewed the details and the plan met all of their requirements.
However, the price was too steep and a motion was made to reject the proposal.
Jerry Flemming, Iowa Park City Manager, said despite the motion to reject the proposal, the city is still interested in an Animal Reclaim Center and will continue to work towards getting one.
