Officials See Light At The End Of The Road In Electra

ELECTRA, TX (KAUZ) -

WFFD Chief, John Reese, at a briefing on Wednesday evening said, a pump station in Electra got its electricity back temporarily. However, it did not hold due to wiring issues. The issue was traced back to a connection at the Red River, where crews are working to fix the problem. Reese said, once the pump station has its power restored, electricity can begin to be redistributed throughout the city.

Officials are optimistic they will have the issue fixed, and be able to distribute power by Thursday. They do warn that if they cannot, crews will continue to search for the cause of the outage.
