Accused Kidnapper In Court On Thursday

WICHITA FALLS, TX -

A Wichita Falls man accused of kidnapping another man while eating breakfast at a McDonalds was in court on Thursday.

Jose Lara was in court for a pre-trial conference on Thursday. Lara is accused of Aggravated Kidnapping.

Lara led officials on a police chase in 2014, that ended when the truck he was in crashed at the intersection of I-44 and Highway 287.

He is due back in court on February 25th where he is expected to enter into a promise plea.
