One Dead Following Accident In Hardeman County

 HARDEMAN COUNTY,TX (KAUZ) -  One person is dead and  five others are injured following a single-vehicle accident in Hardeman County. It happened around 12:30 p.m. Saturday on Highway 287 near the Hardeman County and Childress County Line, according to Dan Buesing, Communications Officer for the Department of Public Safety.

There were six people inside the car headed northbound when the vehicle rolled over, many of the occupants were ejected. One person died at the scene, two others were airlifted to hospitals in Lubbock and Wichita Falls. The other three people were transported to the Hardeman County Memorial Hospital in Quanah.

The victim is not being identified at this time. No word on the cause of the accident. Stay with Newschannel 6 as we continue to follow this story.
