WICHITA FALLS, TX - A 23 year old white male was found shot sometime before 4 a.m. in Wichita Falls on Sunday. Wichita Falls Police responded to a call in the 4700 block of Raylett Drive in Wichita Falls in reference to the gunshot victim..
Police said that the young man was shot in his upper torso and transported to United Regional to be treated for the wound. He is currently listed in stable condition.
While it's unclear if there is a suspect, according to WFPD a separate white male also in his twenties was identified as the shooter by witnesses. That man is being interviewed by WFPD Detectives.
WFPD did acknowledge that a handgun believed to have been used in the shooting was found and recovered. As of right now WFPD said that the suspect could be charged with Aggraved Assault.
