WICHITA FALLS, TX - Nearly 40 Boy Scouts were honored on Tuesday night at the house of Eagles banquet in Wichita Falls.
The banquet recognizes all the accomplishments the scouts made last year.
Scouts from troops in 13 counties were honored.
Several residents were in attendance to show their support.
Newschannel Six spoke to Derek Wolf, one of the newly minted Eagle Scouts said,
"Some of the biggest obstacles was learning to go at other people's pace. Being out in the country, being a country boy, I was always just kind of raised to do stuff myself; go at my pace, but, you know, when it comes to the scouts, you know, everything is group oriented and you just have to learn to work with other people."
