Peytons Denied Bond Reduction

WICHITA FALLS, TX -

A Wichita Falls couple, accused of trying to hire a hit man to murder their daughter's boyfriend, appeared in 30th district court on Friday morning.

Jeffrey Bryan Peyton and Christina June Peyton are charged with murder and are sitting behind bars on $1 million bonds.

Police said the two allegedly paid an undercover officer $500 to murder their daughter's boyfriend back in July of last year because of a money dispute.

The boyfriend was unharmed.

Both appeared in court for a hearing on Friday where a bond reduction was denied for both Jeffrey and Christina Peyton.

No trial date has been set.
