Man Calls Cop After Dealer Shorts Him


A man is given a citation, after calling police to help him get his change back, after he bought what he thought was drugs.

Officers were called out to the 1100 block of Harrison yesterday afternoon to investigate a reported robbery.

When they arrived, a man flagged them down and said he'd given a drug dealer $20 for a baggie of dope and didn't get his change.

He wanted officers to go to the dealer's apartment to get him the $10 he said he was owed.

Officers located the baggie believed to be meth and tested it.

It turned out to be salt.

He man was issued a citation for Soliciting to Acquire a Controlled Substance.
