Samantha Forester joined the Newschannel 6 News team in September 2013 as the 6 & 10 pm Producer.

She made the move to Reporter in January 2016 and then in March 2017 she took on the Digital Content Producer/Reporter position.

Samantha graduated from Midwestern State University in December 2014. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a minor in Broadcast Journalism.

While attending Midwestern State University, Samantha worked as a reporter and anchor for the university news program, Campus Watch.

Samantha was born and raised in Wichita Falls and graduated from Hirschi High School in 2009.

Samantha served as captain of the Lady Huskies soccer team and was also involved in many other student organization like Studio Team.

She enjoys playing sports and doing things for the community, especially with her Kappa Delta Chi sorority sisters.

Samantha has loved serving the community she grew up in and dig into the stories that impact this area.
