Windthorst's Glawe Signs Softball Letter

Windthorst High School senior Jenna Glawe signed Thursday to play softball at Murray State College in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.

Glawe batted .449 as a junior in 2015, helping lead the Trojanettes to an Area Championship.

She said she's excited to head up to Oklahoma this fall, where she said the coaches at MSC said they liked the offense she brings.

"I think they just want a big stick in the outfield, instead of all slappers and quick people," Glawe said. "They really liked my hitting, and my hustle on and off the field."

Glawe said she hadn't heard from any schools until this past August, when the MSC coaches saw her at a club tournament.

"I'm extremely excited right now," she said. "This is a dream that I've always had, as a little kid and growing up playing softball. It's just a really amazing feeling."
