Three sentenced in separate cases in Archer County

ARCHER CITY, TX (KAUZ) -

     ARCHER COUNTY, TX (KAUZ) - Three different men are handed down their punishment Tuesday following investigations by the Archer County Sheriff's Office.     
     First, a Holliday man is sentenced to more then 100 years. Carl Dewayne Henson, 56, was charged with the January 14, 2015 offense of Possession with the Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, the March 1, 2015 offense of Possession of Methamphetamine and the November 5, 2015 offense of Possession with the Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine. Henson accepted the comprehensive plea offer of two 50 year sentences and one 2 year sentence for his crimes. 
     Next, a Waco man accepted a 25 year sentence for the June 8, 2015, burglary of a home in Lakeside City. Jerry Lewis Witlock, 38, was handed down his punishment Tuesday afternoon. 
     Justin Lee Platt, 38, of Wichita Falls accepted a 20 year sentence for the April 3, 2015 offense of Unlawful Possession of Metal or Body Armor by Felon.
