Wichita County Sheriff's Office Citizen Academy - Newschannel 6 Now | Wichita Falls, TX

The next Wichita County Sheriff’s Office Citizen’s Academy has been announced.  Beginning on Thursday, March 3, the academy will meet every Thursday night from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. 

The Academy runs four fourteen weeks, and is free of charge. The academy is designed for all and will include both classroom and hands-on type instruction. Officials in Sheriff’s office say the hosting of the academy is a part of ongoing efforts to increase citizen awareness and enhance the public’s understanding of the Sheriff’s Office.
