WICHITA FALLS, TX - Officials with the Wichita Falls IDS did not take any action on the proposed change to start times of classes next school year.
ISD officials said out of 14,000 students within the district they have only received responses from 68 parents.
ISD Superintendent said, "No decisions were made today on school start times for next year. And we also gave them some feedback we've received from staff members, from athletics, from fine arts, just to say hey, these are options we're having to deal with. Or things we would have to deal with, should we change the start time. And they'll consider that again on Monday night"
The officials say they will try to reach out to parents this weekend for more feedback on the possible changes.
