Two arrested following early morning break-in

ARCHER CITY, TX (KAUZ) -

Two people have been arrested after Wichita Falls Police caught them in the act of trying to burglarize a mobile home.

WFPD responded to the SAFTLOC facility in 1700 block of Archer City Highway just before 4a.m. on Thursday.

When they got there, police noticed a portion of chain link fence was broken and a door on one of the mobile homes was partially opened.

Police said 38-year-old Jason Shelton and 31-year -old Joshua Edmonson were inside.

Shelton had property from the mobile home on him.

Police also found two clear bags of meth on them.

Both Shelton and Edmondson were arrested and transported to the Wichita County Jail where they were charged with Burglary of a Habitation and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
