WICHITA FALLS, TX - Councilors approved a contract for nearly $900,000 at Tuesday's meeting.
The contract was for the water budget utility improvements project.
It's an annual project where the city replaces waterlines and valves.
City crews will be working on mains near Camelot Street, Taft and Hampstead, Harrison and Hampstead and Ardath Street.
City officials said the bid came in under budget this year, and that means they will be able to complete even more projects.
