Men reach for tools after argument escalates

WICHITA FALLS, TX -

A man is behind bars, after officials said he attempted to hurt someone with a sickle.

It happened the 2800 block of Roanoke. Witnesses told officials Bobby Allen Stockinger, and the victim were arguing and they saw him hit the suspect with a crowbar.

When they tried to intervene, Stockinger had threatened to kill them.The 23-year-old then grabbed a sickle from the living room wall, and threw it at the victim.

Eventually, the victim made their way into a bathroom to hide from the suspect.Stockinger then grabbed a pipe, and began hitting the walls. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.The suspect left the residence, however police located him several blocks away.

He is charged with three counts of Aggravated Assault, his bond is set at $300,000.
