WICHITA FALLS, TX -

Wichita County Sheriff's Deputies were on a brief manhunt after a man fled from a traffic stop in the east end of Hammon Ranch Road just before 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Authorities said Phillip Key got out of the stopped car and ran into a field.

Deputies from Clay County and the Allred k-9 united were called in to help search the area.

Officials said Key was then picked up by a relative on U.S 287 after fleeing from the traffic stop.

He was later found in the 2800 block of Baltimore and arrested for evading arrest and an outstanding warrant.

Cynthia Key was also arrested in the 2800 block of Baltimore. She is charged with hindering apprehension.
