WICHITA FALLS, TX - A Wichita Falls man, accused of kidnapping another man eating breakfast at McDonalds plead guilty today in court.
Back in September 2014, police said he walked up to a man's pickup, and told him at gunpoint to move over into the passenger's seat.
When the man did, Lara took off driving.
Officers got involved, when the truck the two men were in, made an illegal turn, in a school zone.
When police tried to stop the vehicle, the driver took off, leading them on a chase that ended when the truck crashed at the intersection I-44 and highway 287.
Jose Lara entered a promise plea today, and was sentenced to ten years behind bars, but was given credit for the almost a year and a half he's already spent in jail.
