Wichita Falls radio legend Joe Tom white turned off his microphone today for the very last time when he officially retired.
Joe Tom has been in radio for 57 years, starting his career in 1959 at KWFT 620.
Joe Tom also worked at various other radio stations and did a TV stint for about 5 years at KAUZ.
This morning, he signed off the air for the last time at Newstalk 1290, where he's worked since 1993.
But don't worry, this living legend will continue with his various projects such as the Texas-Oklahoma fair, the Gun shows, and the many other things he's been part of.
So you will still be hearing him say his signature line, "don't you dare miss it.”
