COTTON COUNTY. OK -
Many people gathered Sunday to help a Cotton County Sheriff's Deputy fight cancer. Brooke Stranahan was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer on New Year's Eve.
She's a mother of five with children ranging from 3-years-old to eleven. She has spent her life helping those in need, first as an EMT now as a sheriff's deputy.
That's why many in the community said, now is the time to give back. The benefit was held at Texas Nite Life in Wichita Falls on Sunday, February 28th.
There was a raffle, silent auction, live bands, and much more.
If you were not able to attend the benefit you can still help. A gofundme account has been set up, you can donate here.
Shirts are also on sale for $20. You can learn more by heading to the event Facebook page.
