A culvert washed out by last spring’s flooding events will now be replaced by a bridge.

Starting Monday, March 7, 2016 crews will begin work on rebuilding the FM 1806 structure, between Neels Road and Old Spillway Road.

The $689,000 bridge will take just over three months to construct. During this time the crossing will be closed and traffic will be diverted to Neels Rd on the East.
