A Texoma man indicted on two counts of Intoxicated Manslaughter now knows his fate.

Omar Vera appeared in 30th District Court Friday morning for sentencing. He entered a guilty plea.

Back in June of 2015, Vera was driving a car with three passengers in it, when he lost control and drove off the road into Holliday Creek. All four were taken to the hospital. 19- year- old Juan Calixto and 17- year- old Antonio Sanchez died from their injuries.

Friday morning, Vera found out he will serve 90 days in jail. Then, he will spend 6 months in a state jail facility. That facility is similar to a drug rehab center.
Once he gets out, he will serve 10 years probation. Vera also has to pay a fine of $750 dollars and $359 dollars in court costs. Any violation of his probation will result in a 10 year jail sentence.
