WICHITA FALLS, TX -

A road rage incident Sunday in Wichita Falls ended at a home with two men pointing guns at each other.

A silver truck was headed down Kemp Street around 5:30 p.m. when the driver noticed his son and ex-wife in a different truck with his ex-wife’s new boyfriend, according to the Wichita Falls Police Department.

The man inside the black truck, with the other man’s family, started flipping the driver of the silver truck off. The silver truck driver then followed him to a home on the 1200 block of Fillmore Street.

There, the driver of the silver truck pulled a gun on the other man. Words were exchanged, the silver truck drove off, but later returned. When the silver truck came back to the house the driver pointed  the gun at the man again, that’s when the other man went inside and brought out his gun.

The incident eventually ended peacefully with one man placed in handcuffs.

The driver of the silver truck was arrested and is charged with assault family violence and aggravated assault. The other man is not facing charges because he was at his home, and protecting himself, according to the Wichita Falls Police Department.

His name will be released once he is booked into the Wichita County Jail.
