OLNEY, TX (KAUZ)
Board members from the Olney Independent School District are adding more upgrades to the Career and Technology Education Center, and this is all going to happen with money from the district’s general fund.
More than $400,000 is going to be used to construct a parking lot the size of a football field for the CTE Center, adding a street leading to the building and sidewalks.
Board members also talked about the renovations to the junior high and said they are making good progress.
As of now, the roof construction is finished, although new gas pipes will be put in at no extra charge to the district because the roofing company made an error and is claiming responsibility.
