Breann Schreiber has been a key part of a lot of wins for just about every Windthorst girls' athletic team the past four years.
Now she's heading off to the next level, after signing Wednesday to play volleyball at Midland College!
In her senior year, she averaged over ten kills per game for the state-finalist Trojanettes.
She said the people in Midland drew her to sign there.
"I really liked the coaches," she said. "And then there's two players who will be there next year and I liked them. And it was a really nice facility."
With just two current freshmen returning next year as sophomores, Schreiber figures to get a good chance at early playing time with the Lady Rangers.
Her coach for this past season Allison (Schreiber) Bussey, who also happens to be her cousin, says Breann is ready to be a leader right away.
"Definitely, experience is a big thing," Coach Bussey said. "She's been in a lot of tough situations, and very tough games that she's kinda had to step up in. And I think that will carry over to the next level as well."
