Lazarus Earns NAHL Star of the Week

WICHITA FALLS, TX -

Wichita Falls Wildcats forward Jonathan Lazarus has earned NAHL South Division First Star of the Week honors, the league announced Monday.

Lazarus scored a goal and three assists in the Wildcats' two-game sweep of Amarillo this past weekend, in his return from a four-game absence due to a shoulder injury.

The Wildcats now lead the South Division by six points over the Lone Star Brahmas with six games to play, meaning that any combination of six points gained, or six points not gained by Lone Star, clinches Wichita Falls's first-ever division title!

The 'Cats will host third-place Topeka Roadrunners this Friday and Saturday night at the Kay Yeager Coliseum. Both games start at 7:05 p.m., and tickets for both games are just five dollars.
