Electra woman arrested for Theft from a daycare

ELECTRA, TX (KAUZ) -

An investigation by the Electra Police Department, with help from the Iowa Park Police Department, lead to the arrest of a 36 year old daycare operator. 
Police arrested Amanda Renee Robeson at her new place of employment and booked her into the Wichita County jail Thursday.
According to the affidavit, Robeson worked at the Imagination Station Daycare Center, which is owned by Electra Memorial Hospital.
The hospital's CEO told police that Robeson was supposed to collect money from customers and then deposit the money into the bank.
However, investigators say the hospital's CEO told them more than $16,000 dollars disappeared and that the deposit slips did not add up to the daycare's receipts. 
Robeson told police she used the money to buy toys for the daycare.
She is charged with with Theft.
Her bond was set at $10,000 dollars.
