WICHITA FALLS, TX -

An 18-wheeler semi-truck accident closed down a major Texoma freeway for a quite some time in the early hours of Saturday Morning. Police said that the truck was hauling hay south bound down Henry S Grace Freeway when it somehow lost control and then rolled over onto its left side and slid under an overpass.
Officials said that hay was everywhere on both sides of the freeway forcing them to close down both north and southbound lanes for nearly two hours. TexDoT had to be called out and assist with some of the cleanup. Police said that when the truck flipped onto it's left the gas tank on that side was damaged and diesel fuel leaked out. However TexDoT was able to cleanup the gas from the accident.
According to the authorities one person was sent to the hospital but the two other people involved in the incident were unharmed.
Traffic is said to have returned back to normal.
