Pinwheels For Patsy's House Begins Saturday

WICHITA FALLS, TX - Saturday marks the beginning of the Patsy's House Pinwheel Fundraiser. The Patsy's House Children Advocacy Center will place 1,724 pinwheels in front of Patterson Honda in Wichita Falls, one pinwheel for each reported case of child abuse in Wichita County. For every $20 donation a pinwheel will be pulled from the ground, the goal is to pull all the pinwheels.
"We can not do what we do without our community coming along beside us," said Patsy's House Worker, Denise Roberts.
Patsy's House is continuously fighting back against child abuse in Wichita County. Roberts said that this fundraiser can help symbolically wipe out child abuse with every pin wheel pulled.
"Everything from the point of the interview, to any social services, free counseling, and walking them through the court process anything that the children and their non offending family members may need," said Roberts.
So be sure to come out to Patterson Honda from 12-3 in the afternoon Roberts said that there will be face painting, bounce houses, a rock climbing wall, Tumble bus, Kona Ice, Fort Worth Zoo, pony rides, and free hot-dogs provided by the Wichita Falls Police Officers Association.
