Dalke Makes PGA Tour Debut

SAN ANTONIO, TX (KAUZ) - Former Burkburnett star golfer Brad Dalke made his PGA Tour Debut Thursday night at the Valero Texas Open.

The Oklahoma freshman, who made national headlines by committing to the Sooners at the age of twelve, had to wait over four hours after his original tee time due to a lengthy rain delay in the morning. He finally teed off around 6:40 p.m. from the tenth hole, and started with two pars.

He bogeyed his third hole, number 12, but parred his next four holes before a birdie on #17, his eighth hole. Play was suspended after that due to darkness, so Dalke will resume his round at 8 a.m. Friday morning, then play his second round.
