WICHITA FALLS, TX - A car accident at an intersection on the southwest side of Wichita Falls causes two people to be hospitalized.
Just after 9:30 p.m. Thursday night, Wichita Falls police and first responders were called out for a two-car collision.
Authorities say the driver of a gray Chevy Silverado truck, traveling westbound on Southwest Parkway, ran a red light and t-boned a silver Ford Fiesta traveling north on Barnett Road.
After the driver of the truck struck the car, he continued driving and crashed into a utility pole.
Police say the driver of the truck was transported to United Regional with unknown injuries.
The driver of the car, who was delivering pizza for Papa John's, went to the hospital with minor injuries.
Oncor was called out to repair the utility pole and downed power lines.
At this time, authorities are unsure if alcohol played a part in the accident.
