WICHITA FALLS, TX - The Wichita Falls Wildcats are getting set for round two of the playoffs this weekend, but they got some good news on Tuesday.
Three Wildcats were named to the NAHL's All-Rookie team, including first-teamer Adam Goodsir. He led the 'Cats with 28 goals this regular season, good for second among all rookies in the league.
Defenseman Michael Rounds was named to the league's second team, while Round and Goodsir were also joined by forward Ben Lown on the All-South Division rookie team.
The Wildcats host Topeka Friday night for game one of the South Division Finals, starting at 7:05 p.m. at the Kay Yeager Coliseum. Game 2 will be Saturday night, but the rest of the series is still unscheduled due to a building scheduling conflict in Topeka next weekend.
