Rider's Koby Hott Signs with Hill College

WICHITA FALLS, TX - Rider senior baseball player Koby Hott signed Wednesday to play for Hill College, in Hillsboro, Texas.

Hott said he'll continue to pitch for the Rebels, and also will look to play either third base, or in the outfield, which he'll decide when he gets there.

For the Raiders this season, he's 7-1 with a 0.86 earned run average as they head in to the playoffs as the District 5-5A champions.

He credited the Raiders' coaching staff, led by Josh Bobbitt, and their 'tough-love' approach with helping him improve. He also discussed the inspiration he draws from the memory of his late friend, Bailey Montes, who passed away in September of 2014.
