GRAHAM, TX (KAUZ) - Around 8,000 people spent their Saturday in Graham, TX for the 2nd Annual Food Truck Championship of Texas.

"I'm always trying to introduce people to something different," Javier Santos, owner of What's Cook-N Chef said.

A variety of options were offered at every corner of the downtown square.

"These food trucks are bringing food that people have never tasted before," Krisa De La Cruz, CEO of the Chamber of Commerce and CVB said.

This year a mobile app was available for people to download and vote for their favorite food trucks.

Local food trucks like returning Food Truck Championship of Texas 2015 winner The Gypsy Kit and El Nortenos were serving good eats. But there were also trucks from the as far as Corpus Christi. Bringing thousands of people to this small town has its benefits for the local economy.
