GRAHAM, TX (KAUZ) -

The Graham Steers are Texoma's lone qualifier for the Adidas Texas 7-on-7 Football Championships.

On Sunday night, pools were announced and Graham learned their opponents for bracket play on July 7th in College Station.

The Steers are in Pool H of the Division II tournament, with Boerne, Godley and Shepherd. Their pool will play on Fields 11A and 11B.

Graham faces Shepherd first, at 1 p.m. on Field 11B, then plays Boerne at 3 p.m. on 11A, and closes pool play against Godley at 5 p.m. on 11B. The top two teams in the pool will advance to Friday's bracket play starting at 9 a.m. against teams from Pool P which features Decatur, Lexington, Somerset and Sonora.

The Steers were Division II state champions in 2013 and 2014, but were disqualified from defending their title last year after a fight in a qualifying tournament.

The games will be held at Veterans Park and Athletic Complex in College Station July 7-8.
