Nighthawks' McCullum earns IFL honors following record breaking performance

WICHITA FALLS, TX -

Following the final regular season game of the year Wichita Falls QB Charles McCullum has been named IFL Offensive Player of the Week.

The Wichita Falls Nighthawks finished out the regular season with a bang beating the Green Bay Blizzard in a record breaking shootout 98-75. McCullum lead the nighthawks in breaking several records during that game including the second-highest scoring game in league history. McCullum set a new IFL record with eleven touchdown passes going 24-32 for 321 yards, with one interception.

 His 321 passing yards were the most in the IFL this season. He also ran for 14 yards and another touchdown giving him 12 total in the game. The Nighthawks open the 2016 IFL playoffs on July 9 as they travel to take on the Cedar Rapids Titans at 7:05 p.m.
