WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

Five Wichita Falls Nighthawks players were named to the All-Indoor Football League team on Thursday.

Quarterback Charles McCullum, wide receiver Jordan Jolly and kicker Rockne Belmonte all earned first-team honors, while running back Tyler Williams and defensive tackle Walter Thomas earned second-team.

McCullum led the IFL in passing yards and completions, and tied for 4th in touchdown passes, despite missing four games with a shoulder injury. He was the leader in touchdowns on a per-game basis, and led in yardage per-game by more than 50 yards.

Jolly was second in the IFL in receptions despite missing two games himself, leading the league in receptions per game, while ranking 3rd in yards per game.

Belmonte led all IFL kickers in scoring while ranking second in both made field goals and completion percentage.

Williams ranked 4th in the league in rushing yards per game while finishing 2nd in rushing touchdowns. Thomas anchored the Nighthawks' defensive line, occupying opposing offensive linemen to allow his teammates to make tackles.

The Nighthawks (11-5) will open the 2016 IFL playoffs on Saturday, July 9th at Cedar Rapids (12-4) with the winner traveling to Sioux Falls to face the 15-1 Storm in the United Conference finals.
