GRAHAM, TX (KAUZ) -

Residents in Graham are unnerved after police found the body of a white male behind a church Saturday morning.

"It's scary and crazy," Kylee Meeks said.

Meeks lives in a home next door to the church where the body was found. Officers were called out to the 1000 Block of Loving Highway Saturday at 6:13 a.m. for a suspicious circumstances report.

"It's crazy that there's actually people like that in Graham that would do that," Meeks said.

Police said they found the body inside one of the clothing collection boxes behind the church. An investigation into the circumstances of the man's death is ongoing.

"You know with two kids, you think, is it ever going to happen to us?" Meeks said.

Meeks and other residents we spoke to said they are baffled that a body was found, and in all places, behind a church. The identity of the man found has not yet been released. An update is likely to come on Tuesday.
