Officer dragged by suspect on motorcycle in Wichita Falls

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

Officials with the Wichita Falls Police Department said an officer was dragged by a driver on a motorcycle during a traffic stop.
Police said it happened a little after three on Saturday near the 1600 block of Kell Boulevard, when 41 year-old Mario Olivo was pulled over by officers for speeding.
Officials said during the traffic stop Olivo tried to drive off on his motorcycle, but an officer held on to him and ended up being dragged for a short distance.
Police said that officer forced the motorcycle to tip over in order to keep from being pulled.
Olivo was taken to United Regional for minor injuries.
