WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - A pair of Rider Raiders are headed to play their sport at the next level.
On Monday night, Parker Kelly announced that he has committed to play baseball at Texas Tech University. As a junior in 2016, Kelly hit .420 with 14 extra-base hits, 20 stolen bases and a .994 fielding percentage at shortstop. He was honored as a second-team All-State shortstop by the THSBCA as he helped lead the Raiders to a 24-10 record and a Regional Quarterfinals appearance.
On Tuesday, Rider soccer graduate Greg Fiorentino signed to play at Division III University of Saint Mary, in Leavenworth, Kansas. Fiorentino was a three-year starter for the Raiders, earning first-team all region as a senior midfielder, after earning second-team all-district honors as a junior defender.
