WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - Former Wichita Falls Wildcats defenseman Andrew Kerr is in the hospital after breaking his neck in an accident this weekend.

According to the Duluth News-Tribune, Kerr was jumping on an inflatable trampoline on a lake in Minnesota, when he went underwater and didn't resurface.

He was air-lifted to a local hospital with a broken neck, and has since developed pneumonia, which is common in such cases.

Kerr scored a goal with 10 assists, and 160 penalty minutes in 58 games for the Wildcats in the 2013-14 season.
