Baylor County land dispute comes to an end

A Texoma land dispute has finally come to an end.
In April, a petition to annex nearly 35 square miles of land in Baylor county, from Olney Independent School District to Seymour ISD, was presented to the school districts.
After one district accepted the petition and another declined, one land owner filed an appeal with the Texas Education Agency for a hearing on the decision.
Olney ISD's Superintendent Doctor Greg Roach said late last week he received an official notification from the TEA that the request had been withdrawn.
